Lots of ups and downs with the dogs ... they drive us crazy, but in the final analysis...
When the Man waked up he said, "What is the Wild Dog doing here?" And the Woman said,"His name is not Wild Dog any more, but the First Friend, because he will be our friendfor always and always and always." Rudyard Kipling

A new friend, a lovely lady, shared this with me. Thank you, Lady.
I once spoke to my friend an old squirrel, about the sacraments - he got so excited and ran into a hollow in his tree and came back holding some acorns, an owl feather, and a ribbon he had found. And I just smiled and said, "Yes, dear, you understand: everything imparts His grace." ~ Saint Francis of Assisi ~
"No problem can be solved with the same consciousness that caused it." Albert Einstein Something as simple as trying to see a situation through the eyes of the other participant... or harder yet, how do I look to that other person? From years of family camping, even deciding the weekend menus can ask me to put myself in the place of everyone else.
The South Boulder of the Tobacco Roots & my son-in-law fishing. Seelely Lake below. Tough today to know my summer is short changed by the knee surgery ~~ but it will be over, perhaps I can pick up the thread at the end of July... so much to celebrate in Montana!
